Chlorine is added additionally because, during distribution, water reacts with the pipe walls and other components contained in the tap water, including undesirable microorganisms.
The water leaves the treatment plant in excellent bacteriological quality and contains only the elements necessary for your health, especially salt and minerals.
To maintain this quality up to your faucet and to avoid any risk of accidental secondary contamination, chlorine must be added to the treated water. This is added in very small doses at the outlet of the water treatment plant and then in various parts of the distribution network.
Treated water prevents bacteria from forming and the growth of microorganisms in the pipeline, and after the pipeline is cleaned, the treated water keeps it clean and therefore there is no contamination from the pipeline walls.
Permanently treated water by Blue Boson technology is cleaned from the rust of the incrustation, bio-incrustation or scaling.
